Who We Are

Sefton Park Palm House Preservation Trust is a registered charity set up in 1996 to manage Sefton Park Palm House. Prior to that a committee worked closely with Liverpool City Council to bring together the final stages of the restoration campaign and to set up the Trust.

Pirates Party

The Trust raises all its own income. This covers the running costs, together with an annual contribution to Liverpool City Council towards the building maintenance of Sefton Park Palm House and supports an events programme that offers many more reasons to visit.

Today the Trust employs a core staff team of 6, who work in specially built offices on site. We also have a support team of 5/6 Casual Event Assistants who help at Trust events and private functions.

Our set of Values are an important background to our work and we are proud of our Investor’s in People Award that recognises our open, supportive and efficient way of working. Our VAQAS Award recognises our high standards to the visiting public.
